2020 makes most sense for generation. they can do a shit load of promotion with the summer olympics in tokyo. only reason last gen was 3 years was because no 3rd verison of x and y

What if they're about to release a Kanto remake, but then after the E4 you go to Johto, and then after getting all of their badges you unlock a boat to Sinnoh with 8 gyms and a pokemon league full of level 100 pokemon.
