Of course not, I have one on my team and plan on training one for the battle tree. Shroomdude is one of the best pokemon this gen.

What, from the two we had before Morelull and Shiinotic?

Maybe Paras and Parasect can be added to that at a stretch, and they're more insects with mushrooms on them than straight up mushrooms.
