>>30337170Forgot to say, to the adults like Cynthia, being a pokemon trainer is a hobby, much like most npc trainers you meet in the game that involve construction workers and mountain hikers, not somehing that pays the bills for the most part.
Also even the gym leaders seem to be more a government funded cultural attraction if the electric leader in D/P is any indication, because the whole town was complaining that he was sucking up all the electrical power for his gym gimmicks and there was nothing they could do about it.
>>30337326>The gym leaders aren't in charge of who becomes a gym leader. They sure as hell don't give a rat's ass about the tons of trainers that beat them and go to victory road.
>Remember the fighting gym in saffron that Sabrina beat out? That's another gym leader.
>For most of them it certainly iswho? I don't see anyone even getting money for it, even gym leaders have separate jobs like the archaeologist guy in D/P and his dad. If being a gym leader paid the bills they wouldn't need to do that.
>counter the seriesI'm not countering anything.
>edgySorry, did we read the same OP?
