>>30369691>>30369708I like the concept, even the literal-yeti-crab part.
The thing that makes me hate Crabrawler/Crabominable is how fucking horribly ugly their designs are. Crabrawler is fine enough; it kinda looks over the top and goofy with a literal pompadour, and it doesn't look organic at all, and it just looks like its wearing literal boxing gloves instead of claws, but I can look past that since I like the idea of a literal boxing crab, which translates well into a literal yeti crab.
But then there's fucking Crabominable. This is easily one of the ugliest pokemon designs, real or fake, that I've ever seen.
>Its body is still very geometric and inorganic; its claws barely even resemble the boxing trainer pads they're meant to be, which is already a stupid fucking idea to begin with>Its face looks like something you'd find in a little kid's cartoon on a character who's meant to be as stupid as possible, not a wise teacher who's mastered its capabilities>Its arms are proporitonally too long, it looks like it has three elbows>It went from having a pompadour to some shitty flat-top hair-cut. Why does it need hair, anyways? It's a fucking yeti, it's covered in hair.>Huge fat dumpy body supported on four tiny legsThere's an infuriating amount of failed opportunities this gen, but Crabominable probably takes the cake as the biggest blunder of a design.
