Last gen, it was a pretty simple idea: 6 gens, 6 slots in hour party. Now we've got 7. Tell me lads, if you made a generational team, which gen would you exclude? Would you be hung up at all over missing it?

Gen 6. The only Pokemon I particularly like from it are the Froakie line, Tyrantrum and Talonflame. And even those don't hold a candle to my favourites from the other gens.

You could use a Mega or an Alolan form. Technically you'd be covering all generations that way.

Cross-gen Evolutions to count as multiple generations. (Steelix as I + II, Porygon as I + IV and maybe + II)

Gen 2. The only weird pokemon in that gen was Unown. Although I'm not picky when it comes to BST, Unown is simply too weak.
