I finally got my copy of Sun yesterday... Been soft resetting this whole time for shiny rowlet.. haven't even started enjoying the game.

Motivate me to keep going /vp/. Am I just wasting my time?

if you're going to continue, remember that it'll be at the nickname screen/pokedex entry screen when you'll see if it's shiny or not. The overworked pokemon will always be the same color.

Why not just take the regular Rowlet and then SoS chain for a shiny of something else that you want on your team? I genuinely cant imagine Soft Resetting for a shiny starter in this game, just 2 resets for one with a workable nature made me wanna die
