Being rare is intentional, it's specifically for breeding. I like it because stuff in Johto balls being hard to come by keeps at least some kind of trading economy intact.

That's fine and all, but some warning that you can't get any others in the game would be nice upon receiving them. Mine broke trying to catch an Oranguru and I'm basically screwed for the rest of time.
