Amazon 3rd party is not an accurate measure of market value for out of print games. They're so marked up that anybody with half a brain should realize they're a complete joke. Look at completed eBay listings to see how much the game typically sells for.

You want to know what makes it even funnier?

You could play that copy of SoulSilver on any DS. It is functional and usable.

There is pretty much no format where Lotus is playable. It is nothing more than a status symbol.

Did you notice that HGSS is basically the only Pokemon game that wasn't still collecting dust on store shelves 5 years after release? It had a much smaller printing than normal.
