How many should you chain before trying to catch for a hidden ability?

Should I bother going through all my PP before trying to catch, or is it faster/better to just hit 11 and then try to catch?

I'm chaining A. Geodude, so I NEED to use Damp Poliwrath at all times and can't check the ability with skill swap or whatever.

If I try to switch anything different in they ALWAYS blow up before I can even test anything.

I can chain them to like 40+ with just a couple ethers, but is that really needed for jus the HA?

It's new and looks cool.
You can only get them in the endgame, and in limited quantity unless you employ a tedious, time-consuming exploit.
They have a x.1 catching multiplier. It's ten times harder to catch a non-UB in one than in a regular Pokeball.

Well my Golispod switched out (emergency Exit) and I used my Pyukumuku and switched back to Golisopod afterwards, but no sign of healing. Is it because of emergency Exit? Or do I have to physically switch out to the pyukumuku instead of having an ability do it for me?

I'd personally prefer the bottle caps more. A dedicated balltist can build up a huge supply of Beast Balls, it's the catching that's the hard part. A single Gold Bottle Cap is much more work than a single Beast Ball.

What are the different out-of-battle items and abilities that affect wild pokemon you encounter?

A bunch of abilities affect wild encounters. Compound Eyes gets you more Pokemon that hold items, provided they can. Static increases the odds of running into Electric types. Magnet Pull does the same with Steel types. Pressure, Vital Spirit, and Hustle increase the odds of running into higher level Pokemon. No Guard and Swarm increase encounter rates by 50%, while Arena Trap and Illuminate increase encounter rates by 100%. Cute Charm increases the odds of encountering a Pokemon that's the opposite gender of your lead Pokemon by 66.7%. Either works as long as they're the same species. It can be easier to keep one down at low health so it continuously calls for help rather than you having to kill the weak one and weaken the new one every time, just be careful it doesn't run out of moves and Struggle itself to death. You can usually tell its gonna happen soon when it starts using the same useless move over and over for no reason.

The best you could hope for is probably Vaporeon, it doesn't really care about speed or HA. Lack of a calm or bold nature does hurt its bulk significantly, and there are much better bulky waters, but it'll get the job done and give defensive synergy.

Also, like Minior, Zygarde (50% Forme) and Zygarde (10% Forme) both seem to have two identical Pokédex entries. It's probably because there's a Zygarde (50% Forme) with Aura Break as its first (and only) Ability, and one with Power Construct as its first (and only) Ability, and the same goes for Zygarde (10% Forme). Greninja with Battle Bond is the same way, since it's different to a regular Greninja that has Torrent as its first Ability and Protean as its Hidden Ability because Battle Bond Greninja can only have that one Ability.

Coil ended up being useless cause it has no moves that can truly benefit from it bar Blizzard, and you end up becoming set up bait, which haze and toxic prevent.

Marvel Scale is slightly better thanks to the burn nerf. You can pretty much absorb will o miss now for a status immunity.

Competitive (the ability) builds are best suited to doubles. You eat intimidates and become an instant threat. I've found it to be a good partner for mega mawile

I tested this and I am honestly a bit confused by the results I got. On the turns my Ribombee used Quiver Dance, Orocorio copied it but then when it tried to use its actual attack for the turn it failed, after Ribombee was KO'd and I used a non-Dance move before Oricorio attacked its attack went through normally.
Any one have anymore insight? What if my Oricorio was faster than my Quiver Dancer?

Say, your synchronizer is a level 41 Kadabra with roleplay, perfect for the job.
You are hunting for a HA, so the nature of the first dude doesn't matter and you need your false swiper on the front, so you get a scrappy pangoro to be sure, Adamant too, for the bonus attack damage.

I put a talon flame in my party and ride taurus in the pen in front of the day care. You only have room to spin but it counts. Just keep wiggling the stick in circles, also if youve got the pc function from the ace trainer at the battle tree (hatch 20 eggs) and the charm from the veteran in the game freak office(makes eggs drop at the daycare every 50 steps or so) its the easiest most convinent place to farm for shinies/good ivs.

ACKSHEWALLY an even easier way is to hop on your Tauros and wedge yourself between Daycare Girl and the Daycare house, then just hold B and right and waggle up and down slightly. You won't physically move in any direction but you'll stay in the running animation, which counts for steps.

This way you can easily see when she crosses her arms if she has a new egg and you're literally right beside her ready to get a new one.
