Don't complain about hatch time, just flame body and spin tauros trick.
EV training is better than it's ever been with power items, and SOS battles are good.
Only problem I have is no blissey bases

What's the point of putting time into breeding competitive pokemon if they're going to be virtually worthless by next gen when they inevitably replace the plus symbol with something else

Literally all this does is encourage hacking.

Again, do you think they'll let me bring my otherwise legit Alola hatched Machamp in if I happen to hack Fissure on it? Pokémon was bred in another region in which the move was legal? the game lets it pass, because that was allowed at some point.
Because balance and movesets change with time and games.
You are asking for pokémon to be left behind.

You said physical attackers need 5 IVs and "literally everything else" requires 6. Then you say special attackers need 5 IVs. The vast, vast, vast, majority of Pokemon do not run mixed sets. Even setting aside the extra breeding time, the EV investment becomes less specialized, the Pokemon needs to be very good with a mixed set to be worth it. Most pokemon only need 5 IVs.

This changes literally nothing about my point. Use the list of moves it can only learn in the Alola regardless of where the Pokemon was bred. Problem solved.
