3DS era really dropped the ball with elite 4 remembers. I can only remember Malva's name due to Looker missions, and I just beat Sun/Moon and those were every bit as bland.

I say those 4 are memorable specifically because

With XY having writing issues these 4 showed persoonality in the little time they had

like seriously what the fuck was diantha's team? it had like one threatening pokemon not named mega gardevoir on it and to me seemed more like an afterthought than anything. like there were a few pokemon they forgot to put anywhere else in the game and decided to shoehorn them in at the final battle.

Coulda had Slurpuff, Amoratisse to Alder's Accelgor and Escavalier. Luchabird, Gardevoir, and then two mid mons like Florges and vivillion or something fitting. Florges should've been on her goddamn team.
