I went into S/M blind, so I didn't know shit about the Pokemon. Aside from Alolan forms, since those were a bitch to avoid. But I ran into Crabrawler and thought. "Cool, a blue crab thing. Water/Fighting perhaps?" and caught it in a Net Ball. And it was a pure fighting type.
Then it wouldn't evolve the entire game long, but I stayed strong. Max affection, max friendship, even tried a Water Stone because I thought that would make it Water/Fighting.
Still, he was the little crab that could. His defenses were lacking but his Iron Fist boosted Dizzy Punches and Power-up punches? Oh yeah baby. This dandy little boxing crab had em all on the ropes.
Then, on mount Lanikala, it started evolving.
Finally! Holy shit I was hyped. images filled my mind. A giant crab with xbox hueg pincers. A grimey/bulky dirty boxer perhaps? (Think Balrog from Street Fighter)
