Gale Wings need to be fixed. Have it fail to work at less than 50% instead of 100%. That way Talonflame is not automatically fucked if it tries to switch into anything.

you can still suicide lead with it on cartridge wifi battles, and it isn't completely 100% a shitmon still so I don't understand the complaints too much to be honest. There wasn't really a middle ground to this ability to be had, the only other option would to have been giving it a totally new one. Also fuck priority roost and fuck people that only used it because it was good without even liking the pokemon, give yourself a week and you'll find a new meta poke to magically like. (to those who actually did unironically like bravest bird, RIP sorry for your loss.)

Talonflame was so good because it could dump all of its EV into its defences without having to worry about moving last. Sure, new Tlonflame is still gonna be able to outspeed most things, but it'll be a lot frailer and die to priority.

I know man, that's what the parenthesis RIP was about. Like i meant it's no where near as viable as it was, but it is still usable against randoms on wifi just not competitive anymore (so still better than a shit ton of pokes). I personally dislike FREE PRIORITY on anything, but it did have its place and wasn't as terribly imbalanced as people will make it out to be, but it sure wasn't pleasant in the in game 3 pokes format when it was popular.

Also Gale Wings wasn't even that good. There were a trillion ways to play around it, one of the easiest being sending out a rock type pokemon and using Stealth Rocks.

The only things that outspeed Talonflame as is are shitmons, Ubers, and Pokemon you shouldn't have Talonflame out against in the first place.

It allowed defensive EVs and builds, so roost let it stay out way longer than it will now. I'm okay with the change, but I can see people being mad that something they used or liked got changed.

I keep forgetting /vp/ has no IDs, so I guess it was impossible to see the next post I made.
I never defended 3v3 or level 50, i said you could use it there if you wanted. Yeah he was really good and GF fucked him, I admited that. Basically all I have said here boils down to "He isnt competitive anymore but hey you can do this thing here if you want", if that rustles your jimmies even after I admited he got screwed so be it.

It would have been retarded since after a single Roost it gets more speed than basically anything so the only thing that can stop it would be Mega Pinsir with Quick Attack after SR damage or ESpeed or Daydoge.
