like give galvanize to electivire and mega launcher + pulse moves to magmortar and they wouldnt be so starved for a boosting option

I've yet to see a good one. Every fan design just over complicates it by adding tons of features to normal flygon

But I'd say if it stays ground then make it look more like a ground type.

If it goes bug/dragon then go more for the dragonfly motif

its actually really difficult to include the antlion design features in flygons preexisting design without clipping its wings and stepping on toes, youd have to make something that "flies" through the ground or something like that

dragon/ground with arena trap would be fantastic though regardless of stat distribution

Every Sigilyph fan-mega is utter shit because they try to either go way abstract or make it into a real bird. They need to look at the source material first. Like I'd probably wager that if Pokemon ever gave it a mega it'd be based off of the Nazca Condor since its base form is the Hummingbird

They're probably not bringing them back for the DP remakes. It's much more likely that we'll see a continuation of this gen's gimmicks, similar to XY and ORAS. More Z-moves and probably some Sinnoh forms. They don't even have to explain their appearance now that they've retconned/destroyed the previous Pokemon world.

The Gengar-Alakazam pair already is. Neither member of the Golem-Machamp pair has a mega, so there's nothing to parallel though Machamp should have gotten a fucking Alolan form

Honestly, I always though that the only one that didn't fit Electabuzz's line is Electabuzz itself.
The design is from the era when they did spritework first and then let the artists interpret what the fuck were they seeing.
Electivire is visually fantastic, and Magmortar tries to make sense of what the fuck is Magmar supossed to be. Rhyperior is a great asset, but I can believe why Rhydon fans don't like it.

It heavily implied that the meteor was Dexoy's car and can stop at anytime and in the gameboy era, it turns into an island. If you want to get extremely meta, it happen in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon where it just made a hole in a mountain instead of destroying it.

I was under the impression the meteor simply didn't exist in the RSE universe. The problem was that the Mossdeep guys in ORAS were going to send it "away", not knowing it would end up hitting a different Hoenn in a different universe.

But the meteor was Deoxys and broke apart and everything was fine, so it didn't need to be sent away.

Mega Arceus gets +20 in all stats besides HP and the ability Omnitype, which makes it all types at the same time, Judgement picks whatever type the target is weakest to.
Mega Silvally does the same thing, but it's Advanced RKS System just works like Protean, Multi-Attack picks the type the target is weakest to.

Calling it Omnitype is fine, but it would probably be simpler to have Arceus become typeless itself and keeping what you said about Judgment auto-correcting to what the target is weak to. If Arceus was actually every type, then its own weakness calculations would get too complicated and it would have STAB on every move. Having a move always hit super-effectively and not having weaknesses on top of the stat boost would probably be broken, but you don't get STAB on anything else, so that would be... something, at least.

Damn, that's kind of depressing.

Megas and now Alolan forms have a lot of weird gaps in otherwise grouped up mons though. Like Mega Gallade made a counterpart for Gardevoir, but then Glalie gets a Mega and Froslass nothing. Machamp is kind of the odd one out for early trade evos now too.

Well if we somehow do get a sinnoh remake, and sinnoh forms are a thing, what would be a good alt for Arcanine and arbok? Ice/ghost for Arcanine emphasising the guardian spirit and playing off of fairytales' stuff? Steel/Poison for Arbok would be interesting.
I'd hope they'd get Machamp a fighting/steel form that's based that steel cave where all the steelixs are.

7 is fine for now. Decidueye is versatile, incineroar will be very useful once they get HA. And at least Prim can hit like a truck. Gen 2 are the ones that need it most.

Decidueye's stats hurt it a lot, Incineroar would be better with more speed and Primarina is just about useless in every aspect. I agree that gen 2 needs it but the gen 7 starters need it as bad as they do.
