There are 32 Boxes in the PC of 30 slots each, meaning 960 total slots.

960 - 898 = 62 extra slots for everything else in the game. Just over 2 boxes for:
>all of your competitive mons
>your entire in-game team
>any utility Pokemon (Synchronizers, False Swiper, that sort of thing)
>everything you're breeding

And if you go Full Autism and have all the forms of Arceus and Silvally, that brings your spare slots down to just 28. Less than a box.

They've made Bank a requirement for completionists. Either that, or having a second game to trade to that you use JUST for storage.
