>>30441942And since we're doing assessments of our teams, here's mine:
Decidueye/Hawkeye - While I initially wanted to pick Popplio first, I saved it for my Sun playthrough, so I picked my second pick. As cool as the design is and it's pretty damn good at killing shit, it's so goddamn frail, even compared to Salandit and Dugtrio. Anytime I pick the grass starter, I usually ditch it at some point, and it's looking like Hawkeye is no exception.
Aquanid/Bubbles - This nigga earned his stripes early on in my playthrough. Even though all of his moves except for Scald are damn near useless in most cases, he's proven himself a good teammate.
Salazzle/Calypso - I switched out Muk in favor of her on the second island. Athough she's a glass cannon as well with a 4x ground weakness to boot, she's been plenty useful. Toxic/Venoshock is a sick combo.
Bewear/The Mountain - I needed a decent Fighting type on my team, so I decided to add him on my team on a whim. It took me hours to find one with Fluffy, but damn, has it been worth it. This boy can take physical hits like a champ!
Minior (Indigo)/Luma - I fell in love with Minior when it was first revealed, and I'm glad it didn't disappoint. True, getting used to its two forms was tricky, but it does incredibly well against just about anything that doesn't OHKO/outspeed it.
A-Dugtrio/Unity - While most of my teammates are a mix of Pokemon I like and compatible types, Unity ended up being an afterthought; it only gained a spot on my team because it filled a typing hole I needed on my team. That's not to say that it doesn't hold its own in battle. It's kicked a lot of ass, and Tangling Hair is so helpful, but it's not always been as reliable as other members of my team.
