Can you tell if a mon has been bottle capped?

Ive been using a 6IV ditto, sue me, with a destiny knot but the babies are still coming out with less than 5 perfect IVs. The stats page for the ditto says its IVs are perfect but im not sure if theyve just been bottlecap'd

if a pokemon's been hyper trained, it says so next to the stat if you use the IV judging function. (normally says"best" next to a 31 IV stat, will say "Hyper-trained!" if bottle capped)

anyway, whats happening to you is normal, as the destiny knot passes 5 IV from BOTH parents, not just the one holding it, so you're getting some of the other pokemons IV's in there too rather than just the ditto's probably.

just swap the parent with one of its children with more perfect IV's than said parent to increase your chances.

Destiny knot takes 5ivs between both parents. Youre probably pulling lots from the other.

Just switched out my other parent for one with 5 perfect IVs

Take a baby with a few perfect IVs and keep breeding down til you're making babies with 4-6 IVs. Pokemon doesn't care if you inbreed.
