I can't wait until Tapumemes are outclassed, too. Heatran, Cresselia, Amoonguss, Thundurus and Landorus couldn't come soon enough. Get rid of this new trash that thinks they're good.

I liked it for being a sea bird. We need more of those. Wasn't all that viable though. I liked wingull for an early water gun or a second water type instead of the usual flying normal.
I just get bored of certain pokemon around the time they learn stockpile and stockpile accessory moves.

I had one in Sapphire and Diamond and quite liked him.
I did never try to use it conpetitively till now though. Also I'm not one of those hipsters that gets mad if a n obscure pokémon gets popular, if anything I'm happy.

On top of that now if I want a rain team I can avoid using that ugly ass frog.

That was single handedly the thing that made me hate gen 6, I hope when Bank updates, non-Alolan dex mons are still not allowed on Wi-Fi (cause there's no Nat Dex) so that I won't ever have to see P-Don's and Ray's or any box legend's ugly faces for a very long time.

Nope, I've loved Pelipper for a while now. As I get older I find I like the cheerful friendly looking mons a lot more than I used to and he's a good example of that. He's always been very handy in game too, covering Fly and Surf duties and being reasonably bulky. I'm glad he got something nice.

My first competitive team had a Pelipper on it. A Pelipper with Sheer Cold, I paired it in doubles with a No Guard pokemon. I thought No Guard would make all my Sheer Cold work. This is before simulators were popular and I had no experience. I thought I had this awesome gimmick. So I got all my friends to battle me. I did about 6 runs with Pelipper and every battle, he OHKO'd everything. Sheer cold never missed once. I thought I was a genius and went to a large competition with my team.

He missed every time, I was knocked out in the first round within 6 minutes.

A split/tree evo for Wingull into an albatross would be cool. I think split evos would be a good way to continue the "old mons have different forms in different reasons" without having to plop down six million different designs. Like A-Raichu. As long as no base mon gets more than 2, it doesn't cut into Eevees schtick.
