They had mentioned things about her parents being Alolan royalty, which would put her somewhere around "ridiculously old", and then somebody else mentioned how the kahunas usually choose the trial captains, but not on that island due to "circumstances", so I had just assumed she was dead.
I still think it's possible that she's some kind of inhuman or ageless being because there's no way she's as young as she looks.
