Every single one of you faggots' journeys are fucking canon in their own game/universe. So if one of you wants to play as a 30-something year old neckbeard exploring a region and saving the world, it's as canon as the shit shown in Generations, the Ashnime, Pokemon Special, the various nuzlocke comics, everything.

What you see is just what is shown to you, or rather, that person's adventure, not the definite canon.

It's funny, because the idea of an "official" version of the games' events (starter, player character, etc) is a fan construct, so it's not really a canon at all. You might as well call it fanon for what it's worth.
