Luck of the draw for me. I usually try to go balanced, but this time in poke-hawaii I pretty much kept on getting girls.

Soft reset for a good Litten, and said starter turned out to be a girl. So I just went screw it and stuck with her. Same with my Grimer, Cutiefly. Bonsweet is girl only, so that.

I ended up picking up a flygon close to endgame, and Minor is genderless.

Luck of the draw this time. My first main game girl (only other time I get girls is when I do romhacks. Girl Torterra and Lucario)

I never pay attention to genders in pokemon. They don't make a difference except for having a blue or pink symbol next to their names and a minor difference in designs for some mons.

A seldom used move by other trainers in the games. If you really want to prepare for Attract, it's better to have a mixed gender team anyway, so that way you don't get fucked by the opposite gender.

I like when the majority of the team matches the gender of the trainer.

I always play a male in one version, and female in the other. Female gets mostly female Pokemon, male gets mostly male Pokemon.
The male also gets more masculine looking Pokemon, while the female tends to get the pretty feminine ones.

It's a quirk.
