They're part of the Pokedex, so I would hope so.

Just leave them to the postgame so they don't necessarily take the spotlight of the main story. Hell, have them be completely unknown and mysterious Pokemon that just show up the hell out of nowhere and to get an explanation you have to play Sun and Moon (or another Alola game or any other game that features them). This way, uninitiated players would get introduced to these tough boss like Pokemon and maybe even be startled by them.

Mega Evolution is a battle mechanic. UB's are a pokemon class of there own I know the game treats them like Legendary, don't need to remind me. It's like saying they will stop making pokemon families because they decided to stop creating alternate forms like Rotom's.

If they brought them back they'd have to keep shoehorning wormhole bullshit into every story. They work way better as a one-time thing. If they keep appearing everyone will just get sick of them.

Well, being fair on Z-Moves, they've gotten all of the types down already. The only real place to explore them with are pokemon spesific Z-moves, and really, a lot of them aren't all that great.

I really fucking like the designs for the UBs, they're so out there compared to traditional mon designs.

Celesteela and Xurkitree especially, they don't usually go that silly or weird or HUGE.

I don't want every gen to have 10 new UBs, but maybe one or two every other gen to carry on a sub-plotline and give us some really out there 'mons would be cool as fuck.

It'll start to feel really unoriginal if they have UB stuff in every game. They work better as something thats exclusive to Alola. Maybe they'll be in the DP remakes (like ORAS had megas), but I can't see them going farther than that.

Though personally I wouldn't mind them putting wormhole shit into every game, I'd love a UB-quest with increased complexity and lore expansion in future games.

hoopa can probably open portals in a similar fashion, say he forgot to close it since he doesn't give a fuck.

They can just do other stuff that's equally cool instead of shoehorning UBs into every game. They're a lot cooler as a one off deal. Doing it in every game from now on would feel really forced and unoriginal.
