Okay, explain something to me my friends.

When I inspect EVs, when does the name sparkle? When it reaches 252 or 255 in that stat? When does the graph turn blue? According to my calculations I should be at 252/252/4, but only one stat is sparkling, and the graph isn't even blue.

Also an obvious question would be why don't they just show actual numerical values, but I guess that's too much to hope for (fucking gamefreak).
