Your argument that "uhh well if you ban tapu koko then it will just be the next best thing that will take its place" is really fucking stupid and short-sighted. There is no pokemon like tapu koko. It simply beats everything that is remotely similar. However, the next best things are shit like raichu, lanturn, jolteon, xurkitree, the list goes on. Do you really think that jolteon has such a huge lead over everything else on that list that it will become the #1 only pokemon that is played as the electric attacker on the team? Nothing else will ever get played?
The pokemon farther down on the totem pole are much closer to each other in terms of movepool, stats, and overall competitive viability. If you ban tapu koko that would give at least 4+ viable choices for an electric attacker. If you allow tapu koko to stay, it's literally the only choice available. Nothing else even matters. Do you see the fucking point now, retard? Ban just 1 pokemon and we can open the floodgates for myriad strategies and myriad pokemon to be used. Right now that's impossible because the top pokemon are so clearly far ahead of everything else.
