Like if for example an ultra beast is sweeping your team and has too many beast boosts, you can send pyuku in and innards out when they OHKO you and hopefully OHKO back. Just having one in your back row is an instant failsafe against getting swept even if it accomplishes nothing else.
Not a great gimmick but I can at least understand why they gave it such an underwhelming offense, you're supposed to build around the innards out concept.
