Jokes aside electrode is lterally the worst, i get it from Voltorb, its gimmick is that it looks like a poke ball. Electrode could've looked like a any other kind of pokeball and it would have been way better.

Nah, the point is it's NOT literally ice cream to begin with. It's snow, the point is that the resemblance to ice cream flavors would be a functional substance to the Pokemon's moveset rather than being made of something edible altogether.
