I wouldn't be surprised if Sinnoh remakes come out and they have it evolve into Arceus. Rotom dex acted strangely towards its evolutionary line, and after Cosmog evolved into the box legendary there's literally no restrictions for what a legendary can do now.

Basically you get a scrolling "registered" text exactly how you would for all the legendaries and ultra beasts, then Rotom says it's not sure what to think about this Pokemon and it's making its circuits tingling. Leaves one to wonder.

Ar-zeus is indeed what Game Freak intended.

People just misinterpreted it because it's awkward spelling certain foreign names in Japanese.
