How do I convince Gamefreak to change Mega Alakazam's ability to Psychic Surge.

Partner it up with Tapu Lele

It's already extremely fast and hits harder, if it had Psychic Surge, it'd be outright broken

Besides, if they can give that fatass boring ghost Shadow Tag, they can give best gen 1 mon something nicer than Trace.

I suppose you could try getting a job at Gamefreak. Never mind how unlikely that is, you'd still probably need to start killing people to be in a position where you could make such a decision soon enough. I'm pretty sure people only like that pokemon because psychic was OP in gen one though

Have you ever used it without psychic terrain?

It's always missing KOs and it cannot take a hit.
