>tries to be deep with a "muh feels" story but fails embarrassingly hard
>almost every character except for 3 or 4 is useless, forced and unfunny (i'm looking at you, Hau and Kukui, etc)
>most alolan forms are a slap in the face to the original designs (diglett and dugtrio are unforgivable)
>trials are just glorified fetch quests and mini-games
>pokelago is farmville-esque nonsense
>game is piss easy now that you get free status heals, focus sashes, and dodges just for petting your pokemon
>evidence of cut content EVERYWHERE such as the golf course
>red and blue were shoehorned into the game because it has nothing else going for it
I tried really hard to like this game but I can't. If you enjoy it, then good, I'm rather jealous of you. I will say that the music was pretty good but that's a pretty difficult thing to fuck up. It looked nice too. But the game itself, the "meat" if you will, was a complete joke otherwise. It seems SM has amplified by tenfold everything that was wrong with XY. Anyone else jumping ship from the franchise after this disaster? I guess I've just outgrown this shit.
