So you guys are completing your pokedex by legitimately catching and evolving everything or by just scanning codes?

You get the Shiny Charm by actually owning everything or just seeing?

I would scan all the shiny forms, but me being a shiny hunter, I feel like I'm cheating my dex.

Every stone/special item/+trade I make, I trade for one other equivalent pokemon in GTS (Lilligant -> Cottonee etc).

Everything else I catch / evolve myself. Version exclusives naturally get traded for their equivalent.

Almost done the whole dex now.

Catch them all. Did it earlier today.

Also, additionally to the shiny charm, don't forget to beat the GameFreak guy in the left of the room that the game director is in, when you beat him he gives you the charm that makes eggs come in faster (Oval Charm?)
