>>30582142It's only because ゲー (Gē) is how Japan says the Latin letter G, while we say it like ジー (Jī). "Cis" means C (if it doesn't show up, C#), C-Sharp, but in this case, it would be closer to "sis" in English. His musically-inspired name in Japanese is pronounced ゲーチス (Gēchisu; "Gay Cheese" if you will), while using an English pronunciation is "Jesus" (with more of an actual s sound in the middle as opposed to Jeezus like we tend to say). Maybe "Jee-sis" nails it down better. As in "Gee, sis! How come you have such a feminine penis?"
His concept art actually transliterates G-Cis as ゲーツィス (Gētsisu), which is a bit closer to Ghetsis (err, Gaytsis in this case).
