Salandit mentions disorienting opponents and attracting bugs and Salazzle gets a mention of having pheromones diluted to make perfumes, but neither are quite like that initial site description about mind control that got everyone worked up.
Clearly, there's some weird fetishist in Gamefreak, but they've been shut out of the dex entry writing.
