The thing I was complaining about all the way back at the beginning of this travesty was the fact that new mythical pokemon are simply given to you, when before Gen 6 (only really one time in Gen 5, but still) you got to go out, see where the pokemon came from, and even learn some stuff about it. There's a big difference between, for example, having a Darkrai plop into your PC, and having to go on a side-quest to save some kid in a coma and learn about Darkrai.
What part of this confuses you? The thing that I like is learning about the mythical pokemon and seeing it in the wild, and the challenge of having to face, and then capture, said pokemon. It isn't as rewarding if it is simply given to you.
I cannot dissect this ANY further. If you're still confused, I'm sorry, but you'll have to look elsewhere for answers.
