Maybe give it some more psychic moves or make Accelerock be like Flying Press in that it deals X/Flying damage to deal with fighting-types. But honestly, who needs speed when your signature move is a priority move of the ONLY TYPE IN THE GAME THAT HAS MORE SUPER-EFFECTIVES THAN NOT-EFFECTIVES, for lack of better terms.

It either needs a better Ability or better Speed. Leaf Guard and Sweet Veil are pretty much worthless, and Queenly Majesty is good on paper, but since Tsareena just has average speed, most opponents aren't gonna need to use priority moves in the first place.

The problem was not that tyrantrum was slow (you could scarf it which outspeeds base 130 IIRC), the problem was actually that elemental fangs unreliable accuracy outweighted the relatively low damage output they provided.

Day: Strong Jaw, Ice Fang, Earthquake and U-Turn are all good options. Making it Normal/Rock and giving it Extremespeed is optional, but riskier.

Night: Dynamicpunch, Cross Chop and Iron Tail would certainly help. Optionally, give it Moxie and Pain Split, cut the speed further and give it more defense if you want to play into the bruiser-style that the pokedex suggests.

Kommo-o now learns Drain Punch and Poison Jab, and loses 10 SpA for 10 Att. Also, Clanging Scales becomes physical.

A Dragon/Fighting type would have been cool 2 generations ago, but it needs more today.

This so much. Kommo-o being a mixed attacker is a blessing, as it makes it unpredictable and not vulnerable to Intimidate. Clanging Scales is a spammable move if the opponent lacks fairies. Its similar to Outrage but your not locked in which makes it less risky.

With how many signature moves hot handed out this Gen, I was shocked Passimian didn't receive a signature Fighting type move that hits Flying neutrally, or anything really. Instead we just got loads of random moves related to thrown or flying objects.

I wasn't the same person btw, but a slow-ish and relatively fragile Pokemon getting a niche 100% sleep move isn't THAT big a deal. Not that much bigger than Breloom anyway.

Some of the other stuff combined with it is probably overkill though, namely the Hex-like damage boost to Sparkling Aria which is already like 85 power.

I'd probably just make Liquid Voice boost the power and accuracy of all sound-based attacks by 20-30% and make Sparkling Aria work like Ribombee's Pollen Puff where it heals targeted allies or damages targeted enemies.

Primarina has a fuckhuge attacking stat and a godlike type combination, all it really needs is a way to heal itself to be a top-tier presence. If you put an ability like Water Bubble on Primarina it becomes a broken piece of shit. No really I did calcs, Water Bubble Hydro Pump from Primarina is a thing that should never be allowed to happen ever.

The target of an ability does make a difference. Wonder Guard, for example, only exists because it was tailor-made for one Pokemon and will likely never be given to a different Pokemon ever.

Dino has better defensive typing than pure rock, could set up with DDance, and was a lot, a LOT bulkier. And got a fuckton of other, better coverage.
The fundamental flaw of Strong Jaw+Fang is that you are relying on roughly base 90 power moves with imperfect accuracy, when you could just run 90 base power moves with perfect accuracy, and possibly a better effect. Strong Jaw Crunch, and Strong Jaw Psychic Fangs are the only worthwhile options unless something new comes out.
There is a reason Tyrantrum doesn't use Strong Jaw.
