Catch rate of 3 isn't bad either though, I remember always catching legendaries in standard Pokéballs when I was younger because I didn't like the way all the others looked. I distinctly remember catching Zapdos on like, the 10th Pokéball throw with no modifiers. I still don't weaken Pokémon before attempting to catch them, ever. I feel like I'm missing out, but it never really felt like it made a difference to me.
