A lot regions do have some nice landmarks by themselves. Hell, even Johto is cultural and rustic at the same time and I find that Sinnoh deserves a remake for its landmarks alone but I'm sure its nature can be expanded.
So at least I don't want a remake of one of the blandest regions in hindsight because seniority should somehow dictate over logic.
