Primerina is and has been the most successful for the intended role it was given. High special attack/special defense complete with a great typing give it the edge but it's like using special milotic, it's not great and it's heavily outclassed, once pokebank goes through a solid UU. Empoleon will give it competition however since he's tankier.
Decidueye has been mixed depending on what people use him for. Either support (HIS BEST FUCKING ROLE) or offense (Most of the shitters use but still very much doable up in higher tiers). Spirit shackle is his ONLY crutch and keeps him solid at UU, hidden ability or not. He's only OU due to usage now and once pokebank hits and his primary counters (most if not all of which are OU) will take him back down to UU where he will be effective there. Maybe when the stars align and the meta shifts in his favor he'll be lower OU.
Incineroar has the toughest luck since he's literally better Emboar. Doubles/singles aside, his hidden ability is "okay" but still he's held back by terribad stats and being literally outclassed by arcanine. lower UU at best with his hidden ability, RU more than likely. I haven't seen anyone use him above 1800 and I stopped noticing him all-together at 1500.
I'm fucking done with these people desperate. Owlfag, Sealfag, Catfag, I don't care which one you are fucking stop trying to compete over your starter, they're all mediocre. If you truly see them as your bros, then climb with them, make your team centric with them or find some way to utilize their niche to the best of their ability because none are really "better" when I can think of at least 5 other starters that would do better if not equal to them in OU.
