Why can't they make another pseudo like this? All the pseudos past Gen IV have been mediocre in battle. Excellent stat distribution, decent move pool that does the job, good typing, balanced abilities, can run a variety of different sets; it really is the perfect Pokémon.

Shame about the mega though. Normal chomp is always going to be better than it's mega.

Hydreigon was good in Gen 5. HydraRest Goodra would've been crazy in Gen 5 weather wars and Kommo-o's coverage would be insane pre-Fairy. So I guess "would've been great in Gen 5" is the theme for pseudos.

Any suggestions for countering Garchomp in S&M? Mimikyu does a pretty good job when I give him a Focus Sash, and Ice Sivally works even better assuming he doesn't get hit with a Stone Edge first.

fairies aren't hydreigon's biggest problem. in gen 5 nothing was able to switch safely into it, yet it was already underwhelming. unfortunate speed tier and powercreep gave it the rest
