At least with the stall you only need toxa and ferro and 4 different pokemons. In doubles you use 5 pokemons and only one option that bring variation.

I got good natures with my UItra Beasts, usually at least 2 based on what types of natures I think might be good in the meta. Got HP Ice for my Xurkitree too. The fact that Beast balls have insanely high capture rate makes it pretty easy.

Magnezone only just barely and it highly depends on the Muk build.

They're actually pretty evenly matched for damage with Magnezone having a speed advantage and Muk having a priority finisher.

I find myself rarely using metagross, is the thing. I usually have koko/marowak all the time because he is just so good, and then tend to have gyarados/pory2/persian depending on what they have.

I get that metagross can kill the tapus very easily, it just seems like she would be better suited because she can also tank way better and have leech seed

Imprison was used in Gen 5 as a Trick Room counter more than anything, you'd occasionally see bulky Chandelure with Trick Room/Imprison/Protect or Shadowball/Heat Wave.

It'd force your opponent into a brute force exchange with no stalling whilst Muk is free to stall itself. Works even better with Tapu Bulu to give passive healing and to give no fucks about other Muks and Garchomps, it's easily bulky enough to survive 2x SE moves.

Water is a good type. Z moves do a lot of damage.

Gyarados doesn't rely on a particular held item because he's bulky enough to not need focus sash and not bulky enough to make leftovers spectacular on him and because dragon dance set means no choice items.

Actually, it does OHKO 12.5% of the time, but that's lower than doding a WoW, so offensively I don't like to rely on that. But outspeeding and beating Marowak is a pretty good niche in and of itself. Also knocking off celesteela lefties can help.
