Something that is nowhere near as used as it used to be.

Yeah it's a threat, but knowing which Pokemon carry it is something you learn as you play.

The real problem is Magic Bounce.

Pyuk is THE stall mon. It's not gonna do shit, but you're not gonna do shit to it either. Koko can eventually overwhelm it, but it's gonna get Toxic'd in the process, and, of course, the Pyukumuku user could just switch to a check/counter.

I'm playing competitive Pokebank OU and I have a hard time remembering sets for Pokemon since there are so many. Do you guys have any advice that would help me out a bit?

I use it as a claymore mine. When someone hits it, Innards Out breaks their streak. I'm not sure what kind of setup these guys are using. At best you can get a free Toxic off.
