Yup.

And this is exactly what happened when early settlers came to Hawaii. They brought rats with them (because that's what rats do), so they brought in asian mongoose to control the rat population, but the rats just moved to urban areas.

And Gamefreak made the mongoose a detective and the rats bandits, which adds more to the depth

it's pretty cool
