>>30687409IVysaur is for the poison Ivy. I don't think there is a poison Ivy pokemon but Ivysaur is a poison type with the word "Ivy" in its name, so close enough. If you go into the woods or your backyard after forgetting to mow it for a week, it will be nothing but poison ivy. IT is more common than grass at this point.
Banette is because the people here have this creepy habit of duct taping stuffed animals to telephone poles where people had car accidents and died. The stuffed animals get moldy and/or covered in wasps after a day or two, so I figured they'd come back as Banettes. There are tons of these all over the city.
Serperior is because of all the water snakes. I live near a lake and people are only able to swim in it because the snakes are generous enough to allow it. There are seriously tons and tons of snakes there. I don't thin they're poisonous, I was bit by one a few years back and I didn't feel like I was poisoned or sick, just kinda pissed off, so I went with the only non-poison snake pokemon I could think of (too bad there's not a water type snake, that would've been more appropriate). I've seen them as long as five or six feet, usually black and shiny, drunks and kids trying to act tough will wrestle them sometimes, it's kinda cool. I thought about trying to keep one as a pet once, but my mom wouldn't let me (I was, like 13 at the time) and I don't care enough to try and catch one now.
