Grinding these BP is more tedious than ever, I am really considering looking into just hacking myself 999 bp and never having to grind that shit ever again.

Why did they make it like this?

The whole point of getting the power/breeding items is so you can get a good team together, but you need a decent team in the first place to consistently grind to get those items.
