>>30701609Smogon just forgets that there are ton of valid moves that can't miss or deal high damage to Minimized Pokémon. Some of those moves are even good in their own right, like STAB Body Slam on Snorlax. There's also Aura Sphere, Clear Smog, Defog, Whirlwind, Roar for strong counters to evasion.
There's also all the Swift clones, Blizzard, Thunder, and Hurricane in their weathers, Toxic on Poison-types, as well as all the moves that have perfect accuracy against Minimize, like Phantom Force, Flying Press, and Dragon Rush.
Really, Smogon just dislikes the idea of it being possible for the enemy team to have something that you can't possibly have an answer for if you did poor planning.
