Models don't fit with the rest of it, it makes it look Off. The lighting is weird and the camera is so Scheisse that it makes me want to gouge my eyes out.

If there's one thing Nintendo does right, it's making their games look good. SM had graphics that I loved. It looked more anime than actual anime.

He is right about those, the grass and the models are different levels of detail, which makes them look like they don't belong together, and the lighting is too harsh, I would accept that if one of them was a primal groudon, though.

They aren't, you have to be blind to not see it, The grass looks so sharp and have much more realistic colors, compared to the models which are very cartoony, with round shapes, and blurried.

To make grass on the same level as the pokemon:
>Less colors, using only the vivid colored ones
>less pointy, make it rounder

To make the pokemon on the same level as the grass:
>more texture than plain colors, like giving it a scale shine to Salazzle or hairy skin to incineroar
>more pixels, the pixels on their texture are like 10 times bigger than the grass pixels, it doesn't help that the texture in the pokemon models are blurry

To make the pokemon models fits in, it would need much more than that. He would need to give some shine to their eyes, fangs, and nails. Add sharpier angles to the bones, and redraw the mesh completely.

I'm not a fan of just putting down Pokemon in a hyper realistic environment. Pokemon does best at imitating the feel of the sprites, the cel shading and the black outline are part of that. Something like Ni no Kuni 2 would be a better example of what the the current models are capable of.

Still, it looks nicer than I thought it would, like Incineroar's fire.
