Is anyone familiar with this? Sometimes when a pokemon starts to evolve, for one or two frames, the evolved form appears in the top left corner right as the screen fades in from black. It doesn't happy every time, but I did notice it a fair few times. I wasn't actually able to snap a shot of it, I had to record video and screen grab from that. It's too quick to be a "spoiler".

I don't know where I found it, but there was a batch of QR codes that was being passed around for literally every Pokemon there is, for pokedex/QR scanning purposes.

Pic Related, should show up as Shiny Giratina Origin Form if you scanned it right now, but unfortunately it wouldn't register in your Alola dex since there isn't a listing for Giratina.

The batch is complete with every form and shiny, including AZ's Eternal Floette

Yes, and while I'm not too familiar with them, I tried looking on that site for the download of QR codes and couldn't find it.

This .rar of every QR code that I have, I don't remember where I downloaded it from. It wasn't their website.

EVs and IVs can be fixed.

Nature however. Cannot. It's both the easiest to decide and the most influential to your Pokemon.

As you see in this picture. His attack and speed suck.

You'd want one that's +def +sp def or +sp atk - atk
His attack is the most useless.

You can synchronize a modest one or breed it. It's really going to make him a killer regardless. With 252 hp 252 sp atk .

Just get a modest one and have him carry.

So is it actually possible to get Salac Berry and other stat-raising ones from the Poni trees? Serebii states it is, but I've been SRing in front of the tree for what feels like eternity and I've been getting possibly every other berry apart from the necessary ones.

Best to get a modest ditto or other compatible Pokemon (maybe even throw in an egg move while you're at it) and give the modest Pokemon ever stone. (You get it from the normal captains mansion on first island)

Or just do what I do and use a sy.chronize modest abra

What's a good level to take on the E4 the first time? My team's at 47 now, and I beat Hau without too much trouble. But if there's anything like Ghetsis' Hydreigon there I'm probably screwed if it's a like ten levels higher than me.

Upgrading Isle Aphun up to level 3 lets you explore for rare treasures, which can net you high-price items, like Comet Shards, or Gold Bottle Caps.

However, you should keep your Rainbow Beans. They increase affection by a metric fuckton; doing nothing but giving a Pokemon 3 Rainbow Beans maxes affection.

Spore and False Swipe is all you need.
Mean Look, Taunt, Foresight or Soak help sometimes depending on what you're catching.
Not sure if those are available to Sketch in this excuse of a dex.

Also the event Munchlax has Hold Back which is identical to False Swipe and learns Yawn as Snorlax at lvl 20, so that might be much easier.

Doing what I did yesterday because an anon asked. This is the list of berry dyes and what they require. This is if you get a 5 star dye booth of any color. Now how do you get one?
>get to level 8 when you can ask people for shops
>when your plaza resets people, look for people wearing bright colored clothes (like red,yellow,etc.) or just ask everyone in general
>Ask them for facilities first and see if they're offering it
>save shekels and cop off them later
And for those of you wondering, you need to put a facility in the first slot of your plaza for people to be able to buy it off you. So if you're lucky enough to get a 5 star shop in your slot, go to the construction worker in the castle and switch the facilities around.

Screencap,save,whatever. Daily reminder solphshit will never offer you anything good no matter how much you level up.

Oh I forgot to level up, all you have to do is horde shekels. Do quizzes. The type matchup/inverse type matchups give you the most. If you don't wanna host one yourself wait till around 9pm EST-midnight? and there will be loads of nips playing. Even if you just sit there the challenge will get 5 stars from so many people playing and you could get 30 per game.

breeding, yes.
because it is piss easy to get 5IV / 6IV 'mon via breeding.
Also remember you need to be level 100 in order to be able to 'fix' the ivs anyway.
Save all your bottlecaps for legendaries... cause then you only need to care about their natures (+ hidden powers if they're special attackers)

At level 3, 63 sessions are all you need for 252 EVs, and it takes 31.5 hours to complete. Save those Rainbow Beans for this, because it cuts the time in half. 15.5 hours per session if you have enough beans and absolutely can't be arsed to wait over a day.

Chaining a 4iv ditto takes like 30 minutes.

Get a munchlax, teach it recycle, delete every other move.
Get a leppa berry and something that knows switcheroo.

Put munchlax as your lead.
find a ditto.
pop an adrenaline orb.
switch to your mon with switcheroo/leppa.
give it the leppa.
take it down to 1 HP with false swipe.
kill 40 of it's call for help dittos.
Catch one 40+
it has 4 perfect IVs guaranteed.

Do that until you have all 6 IVs covered, should only be a few rounds.

Get a Destiny Knot.

Get an Everstone.

You're golden.

So I'm a complete idiot novice when it comes to Pokemon eugenics. Should I be trying to get 6IV Dittos in all the popular natures, or do I just need the one and then get the mom/dad with the desired nature? That way, the mom/dad would have an Everstone to pass down the species and nature, and the Ditto would pass some of the IVs with the Destiny Knot.

I mean, if you find some, definitely hold onto them for convenience's sake. But I've always just bred the other parent with the nature I want. I usually get it in a box or two.

Any baby Pokémon works.

I recommend catching a Static Pichu and putting it into the front of your party so you can easily get another encounter. It's a shame there aren't more types that can have boosted encounter rates via abilities.

When are EVs applied? I EV trained a Pokémon and I am using it in the Battle Tree but I am worried that not all of the EVs have been added to the stats.
I think some games they are added in little bits over the 100 level progression but in others they are added when it next levels and in some they are added as soon as you get them.

I run in the pen to collect 5 eggs then go switch the parent out if the eggs will be better then go run around the parking lot in royal avenue and fly back to the nursery. Yeah it wouldn't do anything. Haven't tried it myself but the purpose of it is to bring the stat up to what would be "best" on the IV judge so if it is already there it wouldn't be able to be trained. I only level stuff I want to go to battle spot with up to 50 because I bred them to where I want their IV's to be so I won't need to hyper train except for stuff like tapu and UB which is mostly what hyper training is for.

I would just put them on Isle evelup at level 1 and train their IV's that way it takes about 32ish hours to finish 2 stats but it is a lot better than EV training individual mons at a time for me. As far as I know, if they go over 50 and they haven't been full EV trained it doesn't have any effect you can finish as normal. I EV train all my stuff on isle evelup even though I have power items and pokerus unless I need that mon ASAP.

The stats still increase as it should be on level up but they will be EV trained fully. It's 63 play sessions with the appropriate drink to max a stat. I haven't payed too much attention to how their stats increase like HP because when I level them at the elite 4 they get to level 30ish from one trainer so it's hard to keep track of. Though I am pretty certain they won't be level 5 with 150-200 hp.

No, you want to put the gible on isle evelup at level 1 to EV train THEN level it up to 50. Leveling it up on random mons will mess up the EV's unless you KO the appropriate mons for the stats. You can reset mons EV's with the appropriate berries and you should grow a lot of them and leppa at the pelago though but that's unnecessary if you do it right.

XY is pretty fun, but it's an easy game, even by Pokemon standards. There's also a problem of not a single fucking character being well-written. Seriously, your mother probably has the best backstory and character writing in the game, and like every other mother in the game she's almost entirely irrelevant after you get your starter.

Still, the game's enjoyable and the breeding is easy mode.

The "nuance" with this method is you don't waste time flying somewhere else to do the exact same thing you would in the autism box. I am really at a loss as to how you think going somewhere else, hatching the eggs at the same rate, and flying back is somehow faster or better than just staying on the same screen. The best area for hatching eggs has been right next to the daycare ever since fucking gen 2 and all of a sudden it's different now according to you.
