The grammer is horrible but they're not wrong, I enjoyed many battles in the sinnoh saga because it was a grind for ash, in kalos after he went to Olympia and found out about greninja's true power did the show turn into the greninja and friends power half hour

But Blaze Infernape was pretty much the same type of DEM. Hell Blaze Infernape was actually better and more clutch than Ash Greninja.

The difference is that Infernape is actually a good pokemon in its base form and was able to get wins without blaze. The same cannot really be said for Ash-Greninja

Infernape never had to go up against mega evolutions, which are ridiculously powerful in the anime, normal Greninja handled all non-mega Pokemon just fine

Paul was the best rival, because he was basically just a competitive IRL player.

Diamond and Pearl is also my favorite, but don't forget that there was a SHIT-TON of pointless filler. Really dragged down the pace.
