or injected it and then bred and traded from it, you can get your hands on one to breed yourself. But with Legends, there will only ever be as much as someone caught. They can't be bred, so the only way to get one is to catch it yourself or have someone trade it to you.
Using all your appropriate Apricorn Balls on Legends leaves you little to trade with outside of Beast Ball mons, of course. But you can still work your way up by jumping a trade you can still make or taking advantage of giveaways, breeding those, then working you way up to what else you want like some kind of free form trading chain. It's because of this I'm almost certain the single Apricorn Ball availability is to encourage exactly this kind of behavior, as is the new Ball inheritance mechanic.
