People who defend the removal of the National Pokedex are apologists.

I kind of want a COMPLETE encyclopedia of my monsters in my monster catching game. Its been a staple of the series since Ruby and Sapphire (RBY obviously don't count being the first games, Johto had the "new Pokedex" which had all the mons, but in a different order.)

First of all, the Pokebank dex doesn't have text entries, so all the Megas and forms not in Alola won't get interesting lore.

Secondly, its been an INGAME feature every game prior to this. You shouldn't have to fucking go into a different app to view something as basic as your fucking monster encyclopedia.

Thirdly, you can get non alola mons right now through Island scan and Ash Greninja, so the whole "u dun need it yet lul" excuse is retarded.

Finally and most importantly, Pokebank requires internet. The 3DS is a portable system, meaning I'm likley to be playing it on the Bus or wherether.

I SHOULDN'T NEED A FUCKING INTERNET CONNECTION TO VIEW AN ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MY MONSTERS IN MY PORTABLE MONSTER CATCHING GAME WHEN ITS BEEN A STAPLE IN GAME FEATURE FOR THE PAST 4 FUCKING GENS.
