I need to make sure. I'm well aware that sheer force gatr can only be in a poke ball but for now I can settle for a torrent one.

Is lure ball the definitive most fitting poke ball for totodile? Or are there other ones that the ball fits more with. I'm fine settling for a premier ball if thats the case.

If you breed a female sheer force totodile with a male lure ball totodile, you have a chance of getting a sheer force in a lure ball with new gen 7 mechanics. It has to be the exact same species though, can't be dile+gatr.

Am i missing something? Can male mons pass down the ability with a female now? Or the poke ball?

Sheer force was a gift mon if I remember right, so you'd have to breed it with a non-HA totodile one way or another. Unless I'm missing something I think this is the only game where you can catch wild ones anyway

So my lure ball totodile just needs to be male when i breed it with a female sheer force one. Guess I'll settle for lure ball totodile then.

For balls it doesn't. But breeding a HA male with a non-HA female will always net you a non-HA baby.

Do you guys think moon ball is best fit?

Also in case theres any competitive bros out there, i wanna run stored power/cosmic power set, can you guys recommend what ability to run for this? Magic guard or unaware?
